Take an hour long tour to the top of Sierra Prieta by way of Thumb Butte.This destination provides one of the most picturesque points in Prescott. Enjoy an awe inspiring ride through the tall pines, aspens, and rocky terrain with the best view of the valleys to the west. This is a favorite for those who want to catch a breathtaking sunset. We'll then make our way down Copper Basin back to the Square.
Climb to the top of Quartz Mountain where the 360* views of the Prescott are amazing, This tour takes you to a large mound of quartz that covers the top of this location. You may even get the chance to see deer on this tour.
We start our tour from the Prescott Square and head up Copper Basin to RD#53. Copper Canyon adds a bit of thrill as you come through several technical descents and then back by way of Whitespar Hwy to the Square.
Start your trip by leaving the square and heading out Walker Rd.ascending all the way to the top of a winding rock filled route to the Mine. Great views of streams and tall pines with stops along the way for great pictures of your adventure in the forest of Prescott.
We Start our tour going Up Thumb Butte Rd. and then onto Rd#53 with an awe inspiring ride through the tall pines and rocky terrain and the best view of the valleys to the west in Prescott. Then we make our way down Rd #53 to Whitespar Hwy and back to the Square.
This route is one of our favorites. It has a good mix of get your heart pumping off-road thrills and some of the most picturesque views you'll find. We keep this trip mostly in the tall pines with lots of steep ascents and descents and a few water crossings. We finish up with a 15 minute break at Goldwater lake for pictures and then return to the Square.
